Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain received a high-level delegation of Bangladeshi Islamic Bankers

Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain recently hosted a delegation from the People's Republic of Bangladesh in the period during the 26th February to 2nd March 2017.
Kuwait Finance
House - Bahrain recently hosted a delegation from the People's Republic of
Bangladesh which included a number of officials from leading Islamic banks and
financial institutions in the period during the 26th February to 2nd
March 2017. The delegation was headed by Mr. AKM Nurul Fazul Bulbul, Director
CEO of Axim Exchange Company.
Mr. Abdulhakeem Alkhayyat, the Managing
Director and CEO and various Executive and Senior Managers of Kuwait Finance
House-Bahrain have greeted and welcomed the Bangladeshi delegation in the
Bank's headquarters in the World Trade Center in Manama.
During the agenda’s,
the two sides exchanged cordial talks and expertise in the banking industry.
The visit was arranged in collaboration with the Central Bank of Bahrain, the Bahrain
Institute of Banking and Finance and a number of Islamic banks in the Kingdom. The
aim was to educate the delegation on the basics of banking transactions
compliant with Islamic Shari’a law.
During the
reception, Mr. AlKhayyat confirmed the distinguished bilateral relations
between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Bangladesh. He welcomed the
delegation in collaboration with distinguished guests to enhance strategic
partnerships and relationships and provide support to the Islamic banking
industry in their organizations. During a meeting, discussions were held about
the role of Islamic banks in the global economy, how to overcome the global
financial crisis successfully and how it became a successful model to the
economic experts around the world.
The
delegation's visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain included the appointments to the
headquarters of the Central Bank of Bahrain, the offices of the Accounting and
Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions in Bahrain, Al Baraka
Bank and other places around the Kingdom.
