Oman Tender Board clears $53.6m projects

Oman's Tender Board has approved tenders and additional works worth OR20.637 million ($53.6 million) covering various projects and programmes in the sultanate.

The approval came during a meeting of the board held under the chairmanship of Dr Rasheed bin Al Safi Al Huraibi.

In the infrastructure sector, the approval provides OR2.429 million ($6.31 million) for additional works on the Wadi Al Minqal - Wadi Bani Jabir road in the Wilayat of Sur in South A'Sharqiyah Governorate; OR640,248 for additional works on the Dhank - Al Khabib asphalt road in A'Dhahirah Governorate; OR436,200 for the Aqbat A'Rustaq road in South Al Batinah Governorate; OR384,360 for the provision of consultancy services for the design and supervision for the construction of Bai'eeq - Aqeer Al Abryeen road in the Wilayat of Al Khaborah in North Al Batinah Governorate.

It also provides OR299,752 for providing consultancy services for the design and supervision of Ibri – Al Dareez - Maskan dual-carriageway, Al Dareez – Yanqul dual-carriageway and Ibri – Al Dareez ring road in A'Dhahirah Governorate; OR203,698 for the design and construction of Samad A'Shaan – Wadi Andam road in North A'Sharqiyah; OR274,780 for the feasibility study and detailed designs for the protection dams in Wadi Al Rafdha and to raise the level of Wadi Al Fulaij dam in South A'Sharqiyah Governorate. - TradeArabia News Service
