Galfar wins $24m Petroleum Development Oman contract

Galfar Engineering & Contracting Company, the largest construction and contracting company in Oman, said it has secured a major contract worth RO9.45 million ($24.4 million) from Petroleum Development Oman (PDO).
The scope of work includes the rehabilitation of Fahud Runway Project in the sultanate, stated the company in its filing to the Muscat Securities Market.
Galfar said the project is due for completion by the end of Mach next year. The mobilisation period for starting the project is 45 days, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
