Maysan awards contract for key phase of Oman mixed-use project

Oman-based Maysan Properties has awarded a major contract to the sultanate's leading business conglomerate Khimji Ramdas for the construction of the first phase of its mixed-use project, Maysan Square, located in Duqm region.
A contract agreement for Phase One construction work at Maysan Square in Duqm was signed by Sadiq Jaffer Sulaiman, CEO of Maysan Properties and Hritik Khimji, director of Khimji Ramdas, last Sunday.
A part of an Integrated Tourism Complex Project (ITC), Maysan Square comprises 20 buildings to be constructed across five phases within Oman’s first Lifestyle Business District located within the Special Economic Zone of Duqm, stated the Omani developer.
A freehold property strategically located in the centre of Duqm, Maysan Square boasts an office complex, residential apartments, a business hotel, entertainment venues and many other facilities that will be constructed in stages as per growing demand, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
